In response to the frequent occurrence of disasters, we have developed a system in collaboration with industry and academia that can remotely monitor changes in the substructure, which is the cause of bridge collapse, with the highest priority given to securing human lives. Even in the cold region of Hokkaido, this system can operate stably throughout the year, and the battery life required for sensor operation is five years, allowing for replacement during bridge inspections.
